Pada prinsipnya, renovasi yang kami lakukan sebenarnya tidak banyak, hanya penambahan ruang pada lantai 1 dan 2 bagian barat (diatas dapur eksisting) serta perubahan fasad bangunan.
In principle, the renovations that we did were actually not much, only the addition of space on the 1st and 2nd floors of the western part (above the existing kitchen) and changes to the building’s facade.
Kami memulai proses dengan mengukur ulang rumah eksisting untuk memastikan ukuran apakah sesuai dengan gambar rencana awal yang diberikan oleh developer atau tidak. Setelah kami ukur ulang, ada beberapa sedikit selisih yang tidak terlalu signifikan, sehingga kami lanjutkan untuk ke tahap desain.
We started the process by re-measuring the existing house to determine whether it was in accordance with the initial plan provided by the developer or not. After we re-measured, there are a few slight differences that are not too significant, so we move on to the design stage.
Penambahan ruang yang dikehendaki Bapak Alex sebenarnya hanya berupa satu kamar tidur di lantai 2. Bangunan eksisting sebenarnya sudah ada kamar tidur, namun dirasa kurang luas. Sehingga untuk menampung kebutuhan, ditambahkan ruang tidur baru di lantai 2. Sedangkan untuk kamar tidur eksisting dibongkar dindingnya untuk digabung dengan ruang duduk yang sudah ada sehingga total luas ruang duduk menjadi besar.
The addition of space that Mr. Alex wanted was actually only in the form of one bedroom on the 2nd floor. The existing building actually already had a bedroom, but it was felt to be less spacious. So to accommodate the needs, a new bedroom was added on the 2nd floor. As for the existing bedroom, the walls were dismantled to be combined with the existing sitting room so that the total area of the sitting room became larger.
